Delicious Dessert Recipe - Key Lime Pie Dessert



Ingredients
Serve: 4 persons

Crust:
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
Filling:
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • Zest of 1 large lime
  • 1/3 cup lime juice
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions
1: Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2: For the crust, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and butter in a large bowl until well incorporated.
3: Pour the mixture into a pie plate and pat downs the bottom and sides.
4: Place into the preheated oven and bake it for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
5: For the filling, stir the milk and egg yolks until well blended. And then, add in the lime zest and lime juice.
6: When the pie crust has cooled until room temperature, pour the lime filling over the pie crust.
7: Place into the preheated oven again and bake it for 10 to 12 minutes.
8: Remove the pie out from the oven and let it cool completely.
9: Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
10: Slice to serve and serve cold.
